such a beautiful couple in a beautiful place - they truly made the best out of what could be a disappointing year, and instead had the the sweetest, most jesus-centered, intimate wedding with their closest family. it is so humbling and moving to be a witness (behind the camera) of some of people's most important days - loved capturing this rehearsal day.
I’ve been imagining people looking back at their photos randomly as time passes + having a different favorite every time. I hope more people, especially in this crazy year we’re in, learn to look for and appreciate the simple photos, the ones later on down the road become photos that remind you of something more. I hope brides re-remember the giddy-omg-were-getting-married-tomorrow smile, or re-remember that their groom couldn’t stop touching and looking over. I want to capture the feeling.
I hope they remember their emotions when surprised with a video of extended family praying for + congratulating this milestone even though they couldn’t be there physically- feeling excited + missing people + some tears + laughter + antsy for the next day. lots to take in on a wedding day... just really exciting to think about capturing something that makes you feel young again 50 years down the road.
