In Flagstaff, Arizona, split between a family cabin and a rented Airbnb, this elopement consisted of only 9 guests total. This wedding weekend was all about prioritizing intentional, quality time between the bride + groom and their families. The couple loves flowers, details, good F&B, and the outdoors. They wanted their wedding day to be intimate and full of all the things they love : their family, their dogs, and gorgeous scenery. The whole day was a family affair - her family helped place florals along the aisle (according to the bride's direction), hanging their coat jackets on a nearby branch. The bride, with her father, walked up to the ceremony site in hiking boots, onlooking her family as they arranged the aisle flowers. She swapped her hiking boots for a gorgeous pair of delicate heels just 30 feet before the altar. Saying their vows with views of the San Francisco mountains, the groom's brother married the two, and the rest of the evening was left relatively unplanned. A timeline with room for spontaneous toasts, dancing with their dogs, and enjoying the moment with their families. Unprompted, genuine moments of love and laughter were captured - in the wedding era we live in, this intimate, fall elopement was a breath of fresh air.
